Creamy avocado mac and cheese with crispy bacon and seasoned bread crumbs for a gourmet upgrade to the classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup shredded smoked Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 0.5 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 0.5 cup crumbled bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Boil a pot of salted water, add macaroni, and cook until al dente, about 11 minutes. Drain and transfer to an 8x15-inch baking dish.
  • Combine creamy avocados, sharp Cheddar cheese, and a hint of black pepper in a bowl, blending until luxuriously smooth. Gently fold this decadent mixture into the pasta, then crown it with crispy bacon and golden breadcrumbs.
  • Bake until the sauce is bubbly, about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
