Elevate these mini pastries with Australian macadamia nuts for a delightful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 sweet unbaked shortcrust frozen tart cases (Pampas brand)
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) bought vanilla custard
  • 60g (1/3 cup) macadamia nuts
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
  • Icing sugar, to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  • Place the frozen tart cases on a baking tray. Evenly distribute the custard among the tart cases. Top with a sprinkle of macadamia nuts and sugar for extra crunch and sweetness.
  • Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the pastry and nuts turn golden. Serve with a dollop of cream and a sprinkle of icing sugar.
