Delightful turkey tea sandwiches - ideal for entertaining, make in advance for effortless serving.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup low-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 French baguette
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced cooked deli turkey
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves, or to taste
  • 0.5 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

Instructions:
  • Mix together creamy cream cheese, aromatic garlic, and flavorful Italian seasoning in a small bowl, then set aside for later.
  • Using a serrated knife, elegantly slice the top third off the baguette. Carefully hollow out the bottom half, ensuring a delicate 1/2-inch shell remains. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over both halves. Assemble layers of turkey, spinach, red pepper, and artichokes on the bottom shell, then cap it with the top half. Wrap the exquisite creation tightly in foil and let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours or, for a deeper flavor, overnight.
  • Slice the unwrapped loaf diagonally into 1- to 2-inch portions and secure each with a toothpick before serving.
