Refreshing mango agua fresca with homemade simple syrup, lime juice, and fresh mint. Perfect for summer!
Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 4.25 cups water, divided
  • 3 medium ripe mangoes
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 0.5 cup fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, melt sugar with 1/4 cup water over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for about 15 minutes before using.
  • In a blender, blend mangoes, simple syrup (water and sugar mixture), lime juice, and 1 cup of water until smooth. Strain through a sieve into a pitcher. Add the remaining water and fresh mint, stir well. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
