Maple Dijon glazed salmon fillets - a sweet and savory family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 pounds salmon fillets
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, thyme, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Season the salmon with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Heat canola oil in a big oven-proof sauté pan over medium heat. Sear the salmon until golden on one side, approximately 3 minutes. Turn the salmon over and coat the top generously with a maple syrup mixture. Continue cooking until the bottom is golden brown, about 3 more minutes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the salmon easily flakes with a fork, approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
