Maple syrup drizzled apple stuffed with figs and nuts.
Ingredients:
  • 80g softened butter
  • 60ml maple syrup
  • 50g (5-6) chopped dried figs
  • 20.00 ml chopped pecan nut
  • 4 Granny Smith apples, cored
  • Custard, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and combine the butter, maple syrup, dried figs, and pecans to create a delicious mixture.
  • Make a shallow cut around the middle of the apple with a sharp knife to prevent the skin from bursting while cooking.
  • Fill the apples with the butter mixture, then transfer them to a baking dish. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot, topped with maple syrup and custard.
