Maple roasted nectarines

Indulge in decadent roasted nectarines with creamy vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 4 nectarines
  • 1 cinnamon quill
  • 54.00 gm maple syrup
  • 20g butter, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C (160C fan). Cut each nectarine into 6 wedges, removing the stones. Arrange the fruit in a baking dish with the cut side facing up and add a cinnamon quill to the dish.
  • Mix together the maple syrup, vanilla essence, and 1 tbsp water. Pour the mixture over the fruit and scatter some butter on top. Roast in the oven for 30-40 mins, flipping the fruit halfway through, until it is tender and caramelized.
  • Delicious when drizzled with warm syrup before enjoying.
