Maple rosemary baked popcorn: a sweet and savory snack delight.
Ingredients:
  • 12 cups unsalted plain popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F. Grease a 17x12-inch half-sheet pan with cooking spray, and then transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, bring the syrup, butter, rosemary, orange peel, and salt to a boil over high heat, stirring often. Let it bubble for 2 minutes without stirring. Drizzle the syrup over the popcorn, ensuring every piece is coated. Spread the popcorn out in a single layer in a pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then stir and bake for an additional 3 minutes. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes before storing in an airtight container.
