Sticky Asian riblets with irresistible sweet-salty glaze. Simply delectable!
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb pork back ribs, cut across bones to make riblets
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple jelly
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with foil. Place the meaty side down in the foil-lined pan and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, combine the rest of the ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot and fully combined. Remove from heat.
  • Lower oven heat to 350°F. Take ribs out of the oven and uncover them. Drain any liquid from the ribs. Place ribs meaty side up and brush with half of the syrup mixture.
  • After 30 minutes of baking uncovered, brush the ribs with the remaining syrup mixture and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the ribs are tender and perfectly glazed.
