Effortlessly impress guests with tender, succulent pork loin glazed in a sweet ketchup and maple syrup blend.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) boneless pork loin roast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • all-purpose flour for dredging
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 0.75 cup maple syrup
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Season your pork roast generously with salt and pepper, then coat it in flour, shaking off any extra.
  • In a sizzling skillet with hot oil, sear the roast until beautifully browned on all sides, about 1 minute per side. Transfer the roast to a large sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.
  • Combine the maple syrup, ketchup, water, and garlic to make a flavorful sauce. Pour most of the sauce over the pork, then wrap the pork in foil, sealing it tightly to lock in all the delicious flavors.
  • Roast in the oven until it reaches an internal temperature of 170°F (75°C), approximately 2 hours.
  • Take the roast out of the oven and gently unwrap the foil packet. Switch on the broiler and broil the roast for a few minutes until the sauce becomes a shiny glaze on the meat. Serve the roast with the extra sauce on the side.
