Total Time:
330 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 250g plain sweet biscuits (such as Nice or Morning Coffee Biscuits)
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 500g cream cheese, softened
  • 215g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 300g ctn sour cream
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 60ml grand marnier
  • 20.00 ml finely grated orange rind
  • 100g 70% cocoa dark chocolate, melted
  • Glace orange slices, to serve (see notes)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C and line the base of a 20cm round springform pan with baking paper.
  • Put the biscuits in a food processor and blend until they turn into fine crumbs. Add the butter and blend until fully mixed. Transfer the mixture into the pan and use a straight-sided glass to evenly press it onto the base and sides. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  • In a food processor, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Slowly add eggs one by one, ensuring each is well blended. Mix in sour cream and thickened cream until fully combined. Divide the mixture into two bowls. Stir Grand Marnier and orange rind into one bowl; mix chocolate into the other.
  • Pour half of the luscious chocolate mixture onto the prepared base, followed by half of the vibrant orange mixture. Keep layering with the remaining portions. Use a bamboo skewer to gently swirl the mixtures together for a beautiful marbled pattern.
  • Bake for 45 minutes until just set. Allow it to cool in the turned-off oven for 2 hours (refer to note), then chill in the fridge. Optionally garnish with glace orange slices before slicing into wedges to serve.
