Savory ground beef, onion, mushrooms, and noodles baked with tomato-mushroom soup and gooey American cheese topping. Pair with a crisp salad and garlic bread for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33300000429153 (16 ounce) package dry egg noodles
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms
  • 1.5 cups processed American cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • First, fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a rolling boil. Then, add the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it is perfectly al dente. Afterwards, drain the pasta. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large deep skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium high heat until meat is cooked and onion is soft. Drain excess fat. Add noodles, tomato soup, mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, and 1 cup of cheese. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at the set temperature.
