Refreshingly marinated salmon with zesty lime and sweet honey, perfect for a summer night. Pair with a margarita to complete the experience.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (5 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons orange blossom honey
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lime slices for garnish
Instructions:
  • Arrange salmon fillets in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine lime juice, honey, brown sugar, and olive oil in a small bowl, then drizzle over the salmon. Refrigerate, covered, for 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) and generously season the salmon with salt and pepper.
  • Place the dish in the middle of the oven that has been preheated, and bake for 15 minutes or until the fish easily flakes with a fork. Top with lime slices before serving hot.
