Marinate shrimp in tangy garlic-tomato marinade with basil, perfect for grilling frozen or fresh shrimp.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup tomato sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 skewers
Instructions:
  • Combine the olive oil, tomato sauce, garlic, and red wine vinegar in a large bowl. Add basil, salt, and cayenne pepper for seasoning.
  • Coat shrimp evenly in the bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate to enhance the flavors of your dish.
  • Skewer shrimp, alternating from tail to head. Remove excess marinade.
  • Grill shrimp until they turn opaque, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
