Chesapeake Bay Crab Soup: A flavorful blend of Old Bay seasoned crab meat, lima beans, corn, carrots, and Maryland blue crab claws.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup fresh lima beans
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning TM
  • 1 gallon water
  • 10 blue crab claws, steamed
  • 1 pound blue crab crabmeat
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients needed for the recipe.
  • In a 4-quart pot, combine stewed tomatoes, 3 cups water, beef broth, lima beans, corn, sliced carrots, chopped onion, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer over medium heat, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • In a large pot, bring 1 gallon of water to a rolling boil. Add the crab claws and cook for 6 minutes. Drain the claws before serving.
  • Combine succulent crabmeat and tender boiled crab claws into a flavorful tomato and vegetable mixture. Allow the ingredients to meld together beautifully by covering and simmering for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve piping hot to enjoy this delectable dish to the fullest.
