Savory crab cakes featuring zesty onion, celery, and tangy brown mustard, perfectly broiled to crispy perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1.125 cups crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon prepared brown mustard
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM
  • 1 pound crabmeat
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven on the broiler setting and gently coat a baking sheet with oil.
  • Combine crushed saltine crackers, mayonnaise, brown mustard, onion, celery, and Old Bay seasoning in a medium bowl. Gently fold in the crabmeat, then shape the mixture into 6 patties and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Broil crab cakes until they are perfectly golden brown on each side, about 8 to 10 minutes.
