Creamy mashed cauliflower with a deliciously smooth texture, made by boiling cauliflower and mixing with sour cream, milk, and butter for a light and flavorful side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • First, fill a large pot with water and bring it to a vigorous boil. Next, cook the cauliflower in the boiling water until it reaches a tender consistency, which should take approximately 10 minutes. Then, drain the cauliflower and set it aside for further use.
  • Melt butter in the pot over medium heat, then stir in cauliflower, milk, and sour cream until combined.
  • Blend cauliflower in the pot using a hand blender until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cauliflower mixture in a baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until bread crumbs are golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
