Prepare a hearty sausage casserole with mashed potatoes and veggies in just 15 minutes for a satisfying family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup onion-seasoned beef broth (from 14 oz can)
  • 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ roasted garlic mashed potato mix
  • Water, milk and butter called for on potato mix pouch
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F. Grease an 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Cook the sausage in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink; remember to drain the excess fat. Combine the cooked sausage with the frozen vegetables in the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk together the broth and flour until smooth, then pour over the sausage mixture. Gently combine all ingredients.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Stir occasionally until the mixture is hot, bubbly, and slightly thickened.
  • Prepare the potatoes according to the instructions on the pouch using water, milk, and butter. Allow them to stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Spoon the potatoes onto the sausage mixture and bake uncovered for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until the potatoes start to brown.
