Ingredients:
  • 1 large brown onion, chopped
  • 900g 5 Star Extra Lean Beef Mince
  • 62.50 ml instant gravy powder
  • 255.00 gm beef stock
  • Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes 400g
  • 1.2kg sebago potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 128.75 gm milk
  • 62.50 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. 3. Brown the mince in 2 batches, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, for 8 to 10 minutes. 4. Transfer the cooked mince to a bowl. 5. Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked mince back to the pan, followed by the savory gravy powder. Stir and cook for 1 minute. Mix in the stock and tomato, then bring it all to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (10-12 minutes). Drain and return to pan over low heat. Mash until smooth, then add butter and milk. Stir until butter melts and mixture combines.
  • Transfer the mince mixture into a 1.4 litre casserole dish. Spread the potato mixture on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Serve hot.
