Elevate cupcakes with colorful candy toppings for a fun treat that appeals to all ages!
Ingredients:
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
- Water, oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (or your favorite flavor)
- Red and blue berry twist licorice
- Assorted small candies or jelly beans
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Prepare cupcake batter according to the instructions on the box, using water, oil, and eggs. Fill each muffin cup with batter evenly.
- Bake for 21-26 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan onto a wire rack and cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Frost the cupcakes, add licorice basket handles, decorate with candies, and store loosely covered at room temperature.
