"My recipe may cook faster than some, so keep an eye on it."
Ingredients:
  • 250g unsalted butter
  • 180g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 385g caster sugar
  • 6.60 gm vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 150g (1 cup) plain flour
  • 100g macadamia nuts, roasted
  • 100g milk chocolate buttons
  • Icing sugar to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C. Line a 23cm square baking tin with baking paper and set it aside.
  • In a saucepan, gently melt the butter and dark chocolate over low heat. Once the butter is nearly melted, remove from heat and stir until glossy. Allow to sit for 5-8 minutes.
  • Whisk in sugar and vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture until combined. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth. Don't worry if it looks lumpy at first, it will become smooth as you add more eggs. Stir in the flour until fully combined.
  • Delicately incorporate the macadamia nuts and chocolate buttons into the mixture. Transfer the batter into the pan, ensuring an even distribution, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Cool the brownie on a wire rack until completely cooled, then dust with icing sugar for a perfectly moist center and irresistible finish.
