Indulge in stunning May flower cupcakes made with Betty Crocker™ cake mix, frosting, and colorful candy sprinkles.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
  • 1 box (4-serving size) raspberry-flavored gelatin
  • 2 tubs (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • Assorted Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles
  • 24 small yellow gumdrops
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake mix according to the box instructions for cupcakes, using water, oil, and egg whites. Mix in the gelatin. Fill muffin cups evenly with the batter.
  • Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and cool completely on racks.
  • Top cupcakes with a decorative flower design by slicing marshmallows with dampened scissors, arranging them on the cupcakes, sprinkling with candy sprinkles, and attaching a gumdrop in the center using frosting.
