Mediterranean-inspired pizza with tuna, olives, peppers, basil, cheddar, and mozzarella for a burst of flavor at home.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 13cm fresh pizza bases
  • 40.00 ml passata (tomato pasta sauce)
  • 1 x 95g can tuna in brine, drained
  • 1/2 small red capsicum, halved, deseeded, cut into thin strips
  • 6 kalamata olives, pitted
  • 30g (1/4 cup) coarsely grated mozzarella
  • 25g (1/4 cup) coarsely grated cheddar
  • 8 fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C. Arrange the pizza bases on a baking tray.
  • Spread the passata evenly on top of the pizza bases using the back of a spoon.
  • Chop tuna into chunks. Add tuna, capsicum, and olives on top of the pizzas. Mix mozzarella and cheddar in a bowl. Sprinkle pizzas with the cheese mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until the cheese is bubbling and melted, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and transfer to a plate. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with basil before serving.
