Elevate French toast with a crispy and flavorful twist using crushed Honey Nut Cheerios™ Medley Crunch cereal coating.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Honey Nut Cheerios™ Medley Crunch cereal, lightly crushed to 1 cup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 thick slices French bread
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the cereal in a shallow bowl and lightly crush.
  • In a spacious bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined.
  • Coat bread in egg mixture, then cereal, pressing gently to adhere. Transfer to skillet.
  • Golden brown the bread over medium heat, then serve warm French toast with your choice of honey or maple-flavored syrup.
