Melon, ginger and basil fruit punch

Create a vibrant summer fruit punch, with an option for a non-alcoholic twist.
Ingredients:
  • 250g seedless watermelon, peeled, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 250g rockmelon, peeled, deseeded, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 250g honeydew melon, peeled, deseeded, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 750ml btl Green Ginger Wine
  • 62.50 ml small fresh basil leaves
  • Ice cubes, to serve
  • Chilled dry ginger ale, to serve
  • Fresh basil leaves, extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine the melon and wine in a large jug, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
  • Pour the melon mixture into a beautiful punch bowl. Gently toss in the fragrant basil leaves and a handful of refreshing ice cubes.
  • Distribute remaining ice cubes into glasses, then pour in the melon mixture. Finish by adding dry ginger ale and garnishing with basil leaves before serving.
