Melon, ginger and basil fruit punch

Create a vibrant summer fruit punch. Non-alcoholic option available in notes.
Ingredients:
  • 250g seedless watermelon, peeled, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 250g rockmelon, peeled, deseeded, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 250g honeydew melon, peeled, deseeded, cut into 1.5cm pieces
  • 750ml btl Green Ginger Wine
  • 62.50 ml small fresh basil leaves
  • Ice cubes, to serve
  • Chilled dry ginger ale, to serve
  • Fresh basil leaves, extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • Transfer the melon and wine mixture into a spacious jug, then cover it and refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
  • Pour the melon mixture into a festive punch bowl and gently mix in fresh basil leaves and a handful of ice cubes for a refreshing touch.
  • Distribute any additional ice cubes evenly among the serving glasses. Next, pour in the melon mixture. Finish by topping it off with dry ginger ale and fresh basil leaves. Finally, serve and enjoy!
