Ingredients:
  • 1 package (1.1 oz) mesquite marinade mix for the grill
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 large sweet onion, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
Instructions:
  • Combine marinade mix, water, and oil in a large shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Add pork chops and onion, ensuring they are well coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Preheat the gas or charcoal grill.
  • Once the grill is hot, take the pork and onion out of the marinade, keeping the marinade aside. Put the pork and onion on the grill over medium heat and cover. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping once and basting regularly with the marinade, until the pork is fully cooked. Dispose of any leftover marinade.
