Elevated blend of beer cheese dip and queso, simple and surprising.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (16 oz) Kraft™ Velveeta™ original cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 6 oz beer (from 12-oz bottle)
  • 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon from 1 container (6.25 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 container (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • Food Should Taste Good™ multigrain tortilla chips, as desired
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart microwavable bowl, combine cheese, beer, green chiles, garlic, and taco seasoning mix. Microwave on High, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir well, then continue microwaving for 3 to 5 more minutes until mixture is smooth when stirred.
  • Add the creamy sour cream, sprinkle with fresh diced tomato and fragrant cilantro, and serve alongside crispy chips.
