Flavorful and simple homemade bread.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chopped green chile pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Combine the green chiles and cheese in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Combine the chile mixture, flour, sugar, and beer in a large bowl until a sticky dough forms, then transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
  • Bake until the top is golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped, about 60 minutes in a preheated oven.
