Classic and delicious sugar cookie.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (150°C).
  • Combine flour, sugar, salt, and nuts in a medium bowl. Add vanilla and mix well. Use your hands or a pastry cutter to incorporate butter until a dough forms. Shape into 24 one-inch flat circles and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Once cooled on a rack, generously dust with confectioners' sugar.
