5-ingredient beef tacos using Coles Mexico Chile Con Carne Seasoning for bold Mexican flavor. Ready in 20 minutes with crunchy shells, topped with lettuce and capsicum for a fun family dinner experience.
Ingredients:
  • 8 Hard Taco Shells
  • 500g No Added Hormones 3 Star Regular Beef Mince
  • 50g pkt Mexico Chile Con Carne Seasoning
  • 500.00 ml Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 small (about 200g) red capsicum, seeded, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Arrange the taco shells on a large baking tray and bake for 5 minutes, or until they are warmed through.
  • Cook the mince in a non-stick frying pan over high heat until it changes color, then stir in the chile con carne seasoning and 3/4 cup (185ml) water. Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the taco shells on serving plates, then stuff them with the mince mixture, lettuce, and capsicum.
