Indulgent Mexican beef chili with beans, corn, and a hint of chocolate cooked low and slow for sensational flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground round
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with garlic, undrained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 0.33300000429153 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, sauté ground round and onion together until the beef is nicely browned, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.
  • Combine beef, onions, water, tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, corn, chocolate chips, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt in a slow cooker. Cook on High for 20 minutes until chili begins to bubble. Then, reduce heat to Low and cook for about 2 hours until thick.
