Elevate a classic sandwich with just three delicious ingredients for a quick and enjoyable meal.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 4 ounces VELVEETA™ Jalapeno Cheese loaf (from 16 oz. box), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon from 1 container (6.25 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup thick & chunky salsa
Instructions:
  • Preheat griddle to 350°F or warm a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Place cheese on 2 slices of bread and top with the remaining bread slice.
  • Combine the butter and taco seasoning mix in a small bowl. Spread half of the mixture on one side of each sandwich.
  • Place the buttered side of the sandwiches down on the hot griddle. Spread the remaining butter mixture on the top sides. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping once, until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve with salsa for dipping.
