Mexican mule punch recipe

Spicy tequila cocktail with ginger beer, lime, mint, and chili.
Ingredients:
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 1 litre ginger beer, chilled
  • 250.00 ml tequila
  • 131.25 gm lime juice
  • 500.00 ml fresh mint sprigs
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 750.00 ml crushed ice
  • Long green chillies, halved lengthways, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1/3 cup water. Stir over gentle heat for 5 minutes or until the sugar completely dissolves. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • In a large jug, mix together sugar syrup, ginger beer, tequila, lime juice, mint, lime slices, and ice. Place chili halves in serving glasses and pour the punch over them. Serve and enjoy!
