Make microwave macaroni and cheese: Cook pasta, onions, and butter in microwave. Add milk and cheese cubes. Microwave again to melt cheese. Enjoy creamy, cheesy macaroni in minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2.5 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 16 ounces cubed processed cheese food
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook macaroni until al dente, for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a 2-quart microwave-safe covered casserole dish, microwave butter and onions on high for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Combine pasta, cubed cheese, and milk in the casserole dish and stir well. Microwave on high for 11 to 12 minutes, stirring at 4, 8, and 11 minutes. The mixture will be runny. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Allow the dish to rest for 5 to 8 minutes before serving to let the sauce thicken as it cools.
