Delicious mincemeat pie, perfect for cozy winter days. Pair with butter or cream cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 cups prepared mincemeat pie filling
Instructions:
  • First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) to ensure the perfect temperature for baking. Then, generously grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan to prevent sticking and help create a beautifully golden crust.
  • In a bowl, thoroughly combine egg, oil, orange peel, juice, and mincemeat. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the egg mixture. Stir until just combined. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • After baking for 1 hour, transfer the loaf from the oven to a wire rack to cool.
