Easy triple chocolate doughnuts with irresistible glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 125g self-raising flour
  • 125g brown sugar
  • 30g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder, sifted
  • 250g butter, at room temperature
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 80g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
  • Chocolate sprinkles, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan forced and grease 12 mini doughnut pans with oil. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, eggs, and 125g butter in a food processor until well mixed. Gradually add milk and blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a 1.2cm plain nozzle. Fill the prepared pans, being careful not to overfill. Bake for 10 minutes until a skewer comes out clean when inserted in the centre. Let cool on a wire rack.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate, cream, and remaining butter until smooth, stirring occasionally for 6-8 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Dip doughnuts in the glaze, then place them glaze-side up on a wire rack. Decorate with sprinkles and let the glaze set.
