Try these delectable M&M biscuits to treat the kids on their first day of school.
Ingredients:
  • 60g butter, softened
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 2.20 gm vanilla extract
  • 27.60 gm vegetable oil
  • 112.50 gm self-raising flour
  • 1/2 x 160g packet mini M&Ms
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • In an electric mixer, cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add oil and flour, then use a wooden spoon to mix into a soft dough.
  • Take 1 level teaspoon of the mixture and roll it into 40 balls. Place the balls 3cm apart on a prepared tray, then gently flatten each one slightly and press 3 M&Ms onto each biscuit.
  • Bake one tray at a time for 10 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Allow them to cool on the trays before serving.
