Golden crispy puff pastry squares topped with buttery garlic mushrooms and goat cheese - Mini savory tarts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 sheet puff pastry
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 0.5 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 4 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking tray.
  • On a floured surface, cut the puff pastry into 8 squares and prick them with a fork. Transfer the squares onto a baking sheet.
  • After baking puff pastry squares for 7 minutes, gently flatten them using the backside of a spatula. Continue baking until they turn golden brown, about 5 more minutes.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Sauté mushrooms and garlic until mushrooms are tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Take off the heat.
  • Evenly distribute mushroom mixture over baked puff pastry squares, crumble goat cheese on top, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve while warm.
