Elevate your party with these irresistible mini smoked gouda, bacon, and sundried tomato cheese balls.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz smoked Gouda cheese, shredded (1 cup)
  • 1/3 cup cooked real bacon bits or pieces (from a jar or package)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped drained sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans or 2/3 cup finely chopped parsley
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese, Gouda cheese, and bacon bits in a medium bowl until evenly mixed. Gently fold in tomatoes. Chill in the refrigerator for 45 to 60 minutes until mixture firms up to form balls.
  • Take a small shallow bowl and put the pecans inside. Form the cheese mixture into 28 (1-inch) balls, using about 2 teaspoons of the mixture for each ball. Then, roll the balls in the pecans until they are coated.
  • Enjoy right away, or simply cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before serving.
