Whip up a delicious strawberry treat using just 4 ingredients. Enjoy on its own or drizzle with a sweet glaze of powdered sugar and milk.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (15 ounce) package refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Allow the pie crust to come to room temperature. Combine strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pie crust and cut out 6 rounds using a 4-inch pastry cutter.
  • Place an equal amount of strawberries on each of the 6 rounds. Moisten your fingers with water and run them along the edges of each round. Fold the rounds in half and seal the edges by pressing them together using a fork. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and make a small slit in each pie.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
