Curried sweet potato samosas - perfect for appetizers or cocktail parties!
Ingredients:
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon dry onion soup mix
  • curry powder to taste
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • sesame oil for brushing
Instructions:
  • Cook sweet potatoes in a pot with a touch of water until extremely tender. Drain and mix in butter, milk, onion soup mix, and curry powder, then mash together.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Spoon a generous teaspoon of the sweet potato mixture onto the middle of each wonton wrapper. Moisten two neighboring edges of the wrapper with water, then gently fold it into a triangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal. Brush both sides of the samosas with fragrant sesame oil before arranging them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for a total of 15 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
