Decadent chocolate pie with walnut crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine walnuts and flour in a medium bowl, mixing well. Add softened butter or margarine and stir until a ball forms. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool before serving.
  • In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix and milk, whisk until smooth. Let it set for 5 minutes, then spread over cooled crust.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add confectioner's sugar and mix until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Spread this over the pudding layer and refrigerate before serving.
