Flavorful pot roast made tender with Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Mix. Irresistibly delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 1/2) pound boneless beef chuck roast
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 0.25 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 8 pepperoncini
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle chuck roast with a generous amount of salt and pepper, then coat evenly with flour.
  • Heat the oil in a large saute pan over high heat until very hot but not smoking. Brown and crust the roast on all sides, around 15 minutes.
  • Prepare a slow cooker by adding the roast, then pour the beef broth around it. Sprinkle Ranch seasoning over the roast, add the butter on top, and scatter pepperoncini over and around the roast. Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours.
  • Shred the meat and combine it with the sauce in the slow cooker. Serve over your choice of bread, egg noodles, or potatoes.
