Indulge in easy summer custard tarts with glazed berries for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 275g (12 pack) sweet tart pastry cases
  • 50g dark chocolate, melted
  • 240.00 gm extra-thick vanilla custard
  • 82.50 ml fresh raspberries
  • 82.50 ml fresh blueberries
  • 6 fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 40.00 ml apricot jam, warmed
Instructions:
  • Follow packet instructions to cook tart cases. Let them cool for 10 minutes. Spoon chocolate into tart cases using a small spoon. Spread chocolate over the base of the tart cases using the back of the spoon. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate is set.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of custard on each tart, then place fresh berries on top. Mix jam with 1 tablespoon of boiling water in a small bowl. Brush the tarts with the jam mixture to glaze the berries.
