Satisfy the whole family with a gourmet mixed mushroom, garlic, and chili pizza for adults paired with fun ham and mushroom pizza scrolls for kids.
Ingredients:
  • 500.00 ml plain flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 7g sachet dry yeast
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 187.50 gm warm water
  • 110g mixed mushrooms, chopped (see note)
  • 1/2 small zucchini, grated
  • 22.00 gm tomato pasta sauce
  • 187.50 ml grated mozzarella
  • 1 red birdseye chilli, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and 3 teaspoons of oil, then stir until dough forms. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 minute until smooth. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour until doubled in size. Punch the dough down and divide it into 2 balls, reserving one for the Ham and Mushroom Pizza Scrolls recipe.
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 250C (230C fan-forced) and grease a 32cm round pizza tray. Using lightly floured hands, press the remaining dough ball onto the prepared tray to cover it. Combine garlic, chilli, and remaining oil in a small bowl, then drizzle over the base. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella, top with zucchini, mushrooms, and the remaining mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake pizza for about 13 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and the cheese is golden brown.
