Indulge in a luscious fruit tart with a rich, creamy filling and buttery cookie crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup marshmallow creme
  • 3 cups assorted fruit
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon water
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 2. Combine all crust ingredients in a medium bowl and use a fork or pastry blender until a soft dough forms. 3. Press the dough firmly into a 12-inch pizza pan, leaving a 1/2 inch border. 4. Prick the dough thoroughly with a fork. 5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. 6. Allow it to cool completely before using.
  • In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and marshmallow creme until velvety. Spread the delectable mixture evenly over the crust, then artfully arrange the fresh fruit on top.
  • In a small saucepan, gently warm the preserves and water until completely melted, stirring occasionally. Allow it to cool slightly before drizzling it over the fruit. Refrigerate any leftovers.
