Decadent coffee-flavored cake perfect for dessert or a pick-me-up treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2.3333332538605 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.66666668653488 cup brewed coffee
  • 0.5 cup cooking oil
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 8 egg whites
  • 0.5 teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in coffee, oil, and egg yolks. Mix by hand until batter is smooth and lump-free.
  • Whisk egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy in a large bowl. Slowly mix in 1/2 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold batter into the egg whites, then pour into a non-stick Bundt® pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Use a knife to loosen the sides and invert the cake onto a serving platter.
