Decadent sticky buns filled with nuts, cinnamon, and sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3.3333332538605 cups bread flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Add the milk, egg, butter, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast to the bread machine pan in that order, ensuring the yeast is added last. Start the Dough cycle on the bread machine.
  • Melt 1/3 cup butter in a saucepan over gentle heat. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and 1 cup walnuts. Stir continuously until smooth. Pour the sauce into a 9x13 inch pan and let it rest.
  • Once the cycle finishes, transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out into a 10x15 rectangle. Brush the dough with melted butter and generously sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins.
  • Roll the dough tightly like a jelly roll, starting with the long side and press to seal. Cut the roll into one-inch pieces using a knife or a long piece of dental floss. Arrange the pieces on top of the caramel sauce in the prepared pan.
  • Allow the dough to rise under a damp cloth in a cozy spot until doubled in size, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Invert onto a platter right after removing from the oven.
