Moist cinnamon bread with sweet swirl. Perfect for breakfast or brunch, a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine flour, sugar, buttermilk, eggs, oil, vanilla, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. Beat until fully combined for about 3 minutes. Transfer the batter into the loaf pan and level the top.
  • For the topping: Combine sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter and swirl with a paring knife for a marbled effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Then, transfer the bread from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
